A short break

My mom came up from San Diego to see me receive my PTA Founders Day award tonight, so I haven’t gotten much work done the past two days. It sure does pile up fast! Even so, it’s good to take some time out to relax and see her.

And yet…I sent her off to Target with my son to look for Civil War soldiers. He was psyched to go, and my mom said he thanked her about six times for going. I’m sure they had some good bonding time.

I need to relax more.
